Prior to earning his doctorate, John spent his freshman year at the University of Wyoming as part of the Cowboys football team, then transferred to the University of Northern Colorado, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
Prior to joining HQ, John’s physical therapy career began at Nike World Headquarters, where he was able to gain valuable exposure to a variety of clientele, ranging from professional athletes to weekend warriors. He currently leads the Nike Golf Performance Program and assists in designing content for on-campus fitness and sport specific training classes.
John enjoys treating a variety of patients with varying backgrounds and believes physical therapy should follow the narrative of resilience and empowerment that focuses on the entire individual, not just an injury or diagnosis. He utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches and truly believes a patient centered model that involves building a long-term relationship through open communication, respect, trust, and education.
Outside of the physical therapy clinic, you’ll find John at the local golf course, brewery, or mountain. Being from Colorado, he continues to relish the outdoors, whether it’s for a short hike, weekend camping trip, or day spent snowboarding.
